Enable a Shipping Method when valid SKU found in Cart

A Flat Rate shipping method can be made available for checkout only when a valid SKU is found in the cart. If an eligible product is not being ordered, the shipping method does not appear to customers.

This enables your store to provide a special shipping method when certain products are being ordered.

Setting up a Shipping Method available for specific SKUs

Go to Settings > Shipping Methods and open an existing Flat Rate shipping method, or click on Add Shipping Method to create a new Flat Rate method.

In the flat rate shipping method settings, set Hide Method if SKU not in cart to Yes.

When set to Yes, the method will only appear if one of the SKUs in the list below is defined.

SKU required in cart to show method will display with a text box for you to enter the list of SKUs into. List the SKUs with commas separating them.

You can also set Hide all other shipping methods if this is eligible to Yes so that when a product from the list is found in the cart this shipping method will display and hide all other options.

The flat rate shipping method will be available for the entire order if any of the items match the list.
