Subscriber Export Data Mapper
New Subscribers can be exported automatically through a Zoey Data Mapper.
Click here for Newsletter settings and the Subscribers list.
Subscriber Export Data Mapper
Zoey Data Mappers consist of a Connection and the Mapper.
- Connection determines where the data is being sent.
- Data Mapper creates the export file and sets the columns.
Subscribers can be sent to an external system through the Connection with the right data and format set by the Mapper.
Creating an Automatic Subscriber Export Mapper
After setting up the Connection, click Add Data Mapper to begin creating your mapper.
A full data mapper setup guide is found here. This tutorial will focus on using the mapper to export Subscriber data.
- Set the Zoey Object to Subscribers.
- Choose a file name for the CSV or TXT file being generated.
Field Mapping
Here in the Field Mapping section add each CSV Column + Zoey Value that will get exported. Start typing in the Zoey Value field to search through exportable data.
Common Subscriber data includes:
| CSV Column | Zoey Value |
|---|---|
| Subscriber Email (subscriber_email) | |
| Name | [Customer] Customer First and Last Name customer_firstlast_name |
| Subscriber Status | Subscriber Status (subscriber_status) |
Subscribers don't have to be registered customers! Only registered customers will have data like Name, Group, or Default Account ID.
Subscriber Status
There are 3 potential statuses for a Subscriber:
1= Subscribed2= Not Activated
Not Active is set when the subscription confirmation is required, but the customer hasn't confirmed yet.
A subscriber is not active when they have not yet confirmed their email (when required).3= Unsubscribed
A subscriber can unsubscribe themselves through the emails they receive, or an Admin can do it through the subscriber list found in Features > Subscribers.4= Unconfirmed
Unconfirmed is for cases where customer subscribed to the newsletter, but their Customer email hasn't been confirmed yet, so it's pending customer email confirmation. Once that clears, they're automatically subscribed.
