How to Re-Export Missing Orders to Fishbowl
Orders may fail to import into Fishbowl. There are two ways to retry the import after making changes in the specific file, or to the data mapper export settings:
- Move the file back into the main import folder.
This is useful when testing or making corrections within the file. The same file can get reprocessed without generating a new export by simply moving it back into the import folder.
OR
- Re-export the file from Zoey.
It's best to re-export if changes to the mapper are expected to resolve the error.
Move the Existing File Back for Import
If the exported order file is in the /Errors/ folder, move it back into the main orders_to_fishbowl folder after making the correction.
Fishbowl will attempt to import the file again. Use this option when no changes are needed to the order data or Data Mapper export.
Re-Export the Orders from Zoey
Re-export the orders when changes have been made to the order or the Data Mapper configuration.
- In Zoey, go to the Orders list.
- Filter for and select the orders missing from Fishbowl.
- Open Bulk Actions.
- Under Exports, select Data Mapper Templates.
- Review the orders included in the export.
- Select the Order Items Export to Fishbowl mapper.
- Select the Dropbox connection used for the Fishbowl integration.
- Create the export.
Zoey will create a new file containing the selected orders and place it in the Dropbox folder where Fishbowl can import it.
