Creating a New Page
Step 1: Click Add Page
Each section of your theme has its own link to create a new page. For instance, to create a new Information Page, you can click "Add New Information Page" (see below)
Not sure what page type to create?
This will open a window to create your new page.
When adding certain page types you will be given the option to change the Web URL (you can do so by clicking "Edit" - see below) and to choose a "Start from page". This allows you to use a previously created page as a starting point for your new page, or to start with an Empty Page.
Web URLs must be unique.
For example, a Category URL: /Classes and an Information Page URL: /Classes - the Category will take precedence.
Click Next to finish creating your new page.
Step 2: Edit, Save or Publish
After creating the page you will be taken into the Visual Design Editor to modify or build your new page.
Newly created pages will be Unpublished until you decide to publish it.
After editing you will have the option to:
- Save - save changes but keep the page unpublished
- Save & Publish - save changes and publish the page
- Save Draft - save changes as a draft that can later be saved or discarded
If you are editing a Template page, you will be given an option to Save & Publish as Default. This will publish your template and set it as the default template for its type.
