Quote IDs

Quote ID settings allow you to build custom Quote IDs by specifying a Prefix and Next Quote ID used (sequentially)

Quote ID Prefix
The Prefix can be something simple like a letter or number (i.e. Q-). It can be a maximum of 4 characters and is limited to letters, numbers, and dashes.

Next Quote ID
The Next Quote ID field allows you to build a custom quote numbering system. So rather than starting at 10000001, you can choose a custom starting number like 20180600111. The number entered in this field will be used as the Next Quote ID and subsequent IDs will grow sequentially, just as long as it has not previously been used by other quotes. This field is limited to numbers only, a minimum of 5 characters, and a maximum of 12 characters.
