Settings > Emails > Ship Date Reminder can be edited to fit your needs. The email is sent to the customer and your sales rep by default.

Configuring Order Automation

Go to Orders > Settings > Automation to set up an order automation rule.

Click Add Rule to get started. Then:

  • Entity - Select either Quotes or Orders.
  • Action - Currently there is only one action to choose from: Send Shipment Date Reminder Email.
  • Schedule - Choose whether the rule will run just once or multiple times on a schedule.
    |Once will send the email at 5am ET.

Then click + Add Filter to add the IF condition that must be met for the email to be sent.

IF Condition

Add the filters that decide which orders or quotes will send the email. You can combine multiple conditions by clicking the + and using AND/OR to evaluate.

Hit Save in the top right once you've finished conditioning the rule!

Audit Log

The Order Automation rules have an Audit Log which records any changes made to the rules. This is helpful for troubleshooting and finding why something may have changed.

Emails Sent by the Automation Rule

The emails sent by the automation rule are logged on the individual Order or Quote. You can open that record and view its Comment History or Audit Log to see the notification emails that've already been sent.
