Stripe ACH - Saved Accounts
Saved Bank Accounts with Stripe ACH
Bank Accounts can be saved for individual Contacts, or for entire Accounts.
If a Contact has a Bank Account saved to them, it will only be available to pay for orders that they place.
When a Bank Account is saved for the entire Account, it will be available to pay invoices for all orders placed.
Saving ACH Accounts
After enabling Use Stripe Financial Connections (V2), you can link your customers to: /ach/v2/accounts/
Here they can click Add New Account to save a Bank Account and accept the ACH Mandate.
Your customer can then choose to save the ACH Account to their Contact, or any of their Accounts.
This is an important distinction as if the Bank Account is saved to the Contact, only that contact's orders can be paid by it.
If the Bank Account is saved to an entire Account, all orders can be paid by it.
- Only Main Managers can save Bank Accounts for the entire Account
After selecting between Accounts or Logged in Contact, click Continue to open the Stripe pop-up for entering Bank Account details.
Viewing Saved Bank Accounts
When navigating to /ach/v2/accounts/
, your customer will see the Bank Accounts which are saved to their Contact, and to their Accounts.
Be sure of which Bank Accounts are available to the whole Account, and each Contact's Orders.
