Default Sales Reps are assigned automatically when an Order or Quote is created. Sales Reps can be set as Default for Customer Groups or Individual Customers.
In Customers > Customer Groups, select a customer group and assign a default Sales Rep. This sales rep will be assigned anytime an Order or Quote is created for or by a customer assigned to the group (unless a different Default Sales Rep is specified for the individual customer).
In the Customer Edit Screen, you can specify Default Sales Reps. The Individual Customer's Default Sales Rep will be assigned anytime an Order or Quote is created for or by this Customer.
