My Account Pages
Editing your My Account Pages
Overview
The My Account page of your Theme gives moderate control to customize the Customer My Account Pages.
Pages within My Account
These pages are not directly editable in your Theme.
They are simply grids which will display the customer's records. You can add or remove columns of the grids by following the steps below.
- My Orders
- My Quotes
- My Drafts
- Account Manager
- My Catalog
- Ordered Items
- My Pending Orders
Editing the Dashboard
The Account Content Block provides the editability for all My Account pages.
To add or remove columns from the customers' grids, you must click into the Account Content section of My Account page. Then click Edit Account Content.
Account Content Settings
Here you can edit Text, Link Tiles, and the Order Grids columns.
Dashboard Title and Greeting Text
- Dashboard Title and Greeting Text will only show on the My Account Dashboard Page.
Quick Link Tiles
- These Link Tiles can be configured, added, removed, and arranged. You can limit each link to only show for specific customer groups, edit their Labels, and provide a short description that will show below the link label.
Order Grid Attributes
- Recent Orders, Orders, Ordered Items, Quotes, and Net Terms Grids can be managed through the Account Content block.
These grids are viewed by customers on individual pages, but all are edited through the Account Content block.
Click Add Item to add a new column to the grids. Checking off Show Filter will allow customers to filter the grid by the attribute's values. Select the attribute to add to the grid and click Submit to save.
Quick Links Sidebar
The Quick Links Sidebar component allows for a sub-navigation of all My Account Pages to be displayed in a sidebar on the My Account Template. This is separate from the Link Tiles displayed in the dashboard.
Quick Links Sidebar Block Settings
Just as with Link Tiles in Account Content, Quick links can be configured, added, removed, and arranged. You can limit each link to only show for specific customer groups, edit their Labels and provide a short description that will show below the link label.
Publishing the Template
Once the template has been created, it must be published. Click "Save & Publish" on the editor page, or publish directly from the Edit My Design page.
You may have multiple My Account templates, but only one My Account template may be published.
