Default Sales Reps
Overview
Default Sales Reps are assigned automatically when an Order or Quote is created. Sales Reps can be set as the Default for Customer Groups, or specific Account.
The default Sales Rep assignment can be changed or overridden based on the Team User permissions.
Team User Overwrite Default Sales Rep
In Team > User List the sales reps can be configured to automatically override the defaults by setting themselves as the Sales Rep on an Order or Quote.
If this is set to yes, whenever a new Order/Quote is created the Sales Rep will overwrite to this User.

Customer Group Defaults
In Customers > Customer Groups, select a customer group and assign a default Sales Rep. This sales rep will be assigned anytime an Order or Quote is created for or by a customer assigned to the group (unless a different Default Sales Rep is specified for the individual customer).
Individual Customer Defaults
In the Customer Edit Screen, you can specify Default Sales Reps. The Individual Customer's Default Sales Rep will be assigned anytime an Order or Quote is created for or by this Customer.
