# Store Scope

Scope selection is how you can enter in specific settings for different languages. For instance, if you are on the Payments page in the Control panel, your **check/money order** payment method may need to be translated to **cheque / giro postal** for your Spanish store.

Your options here will include:

* Default Configuration
* Main Website
* Any Store Views you have set up for additional languages and the like.
